We have put every part of the fruit of the vine in this box: dried stalks, a small bag of grape pomace… and, of course, the wine. May all this help us enjoy the precious content.

The stalk: is the structure that holds together the single grapes and keeps them in abunch. It is not alone in this task because it is bound to the vine.
The grape pomace: is what remains of pressed grapes. It reveals the quality of the grapes: crisp, red, fragrant, golden.
The wine: is the nectar of grapes, the fruit of the vine, and it also depends on the experience, care and patience of Man.

As winemakers, we feel it is a duty of ours to help promote a genuine wine culture, and to debunk a few myths in the process.

For example, with these Magnums, we are taking the opportunity to explain what a “Tartrate Crystal” (called a grìpoa in the local Venetian dialect) actually is, in order to let people know that it is not a defect in the wine – rather, it is an entirely normal and natural phenomenon that occurs as part of the transformation of grapes into wine. The presence of these crystals confirms, to an even greater extent, the authenticity of the wine.
